My client asked for a small fitted wardrobes to fit perfectly between two doors, it had to be in a traditional style with lots of drawer space and no hanging space. It also had to be low enough to allow for a hoist to pass over the top (disability aid).
To fit this specification I made a shaker wardrobe door with a woodgrain finish and six drawers underneath. The whole fitted wardrobe had a in-frame design with shaker style side panels.
The wardrobe internals were finished in oak with adjustable shelving. All six wardrobe drawers were solid oak dovetail drawers. To finish the unit there were bespoke skirting and cornice to complete the traditional style.
It was finished in Little Greene - Aquamarine. They were very happy with the end result and I believe it turned out beautifully!
